Galaxy Sailor Productions is a team of Directors, Producers, Writers, Camera Operators (motion and still), Editors, Composers, and Craftspeople.



Martin Vavra
Film and video maker, avid outdoors person, lover of dogs, addict to the art of fly fishing, and one lucky idiot. Three time winner – Little Lebowski’s Urban Achiever Award.





Autumn Andel
Video maker, photographer, painter on hiatus, moonlight music journalist, and whatever shoe that needs to be filled, Autumn thrives on challenges and deadlines. She has a degree in fine arts and in video production. After years of transient life, she migrated to Portland in 2003 without ever visiting the NW aforetime and felt right at home.





Jena Bodell
Jena Bodell knew she wanted to be an organizer of artistic people when she was the Assistant Director/Stage Manager for her high school plays her senior year. Since then she has received her Bachelor’s in Theatre specializing in stage management, but was quickly swept into the film industry after graduation. Highlights of her career include interning for The Governor’s Office of Film and Television, working as the Independent Producer Liaison for the Oregon Media Production Association, and working as a Production Manager or First Assistant Director for many local indie productions. Bodell’s personal hobbies include rocking out to Guitar Hero, cuddling her kitten Mako, and improving her Excel spreadsheet skills.





Harrisen Howes
Cinematographer, camera operator, editor, import. Harrisen has been on the indie scene in Portland for the last few years working from shorts to features, filling in the gaps with music videos to pad out the experience. He has a great eye for detail and a savvy for cameras.
